Toro 60V Power Max e24 Two-Stage Snow Blower review

Toro Power Max e24, frame from Will's review video

Will tested a prototype Toro sent before the production model; he notes one battery door needed tape and Toro said it would be fixed in production.

My verdict

“Again, overall, super impressed with this.”

What I liked

  • “This thing still did a fantastic job being able to scoop up most of that ice and slush off of the pavement.” 0:41
  • “These self-propelled wheels… could easily take me up an incline, an incline so steep that I couldn't walk up even though I had snow boots on.” 1:50
  • “You get a battery indicator light for each of the three batteries. That is huge.” 5:34
  • “This little joystick here that moves the chute… is super easy to use and operate while this thing is moving.” 6:06

What I didn't like

  • “One of the battery compartments I had to use a piece of tape, which Toro is already aware of.” 2:26
  • “Like all snowblowers, it did clog up on me, although not too bad.” 7:25
  • “I didn't get to test this with actual snow.” 1:19

Worth knowing

Runtime
“Using three of these 6 amp hour batteries, I was able to get about 1,000 ft, and that was from start to finish, full depletion of the batteries… what it was throwing was a lot of heavy sleet.” 1:19
No winter prep
“If you have a gasoline motor, you know that there's a lot of preparation… This is simple. When winter comes again, you just charge up the battery and you put it in.” 4:59
