I haven’t ridden the Heybike Ranger S 2.0. This profile is built from Heybike’s official product page, checked on Oct 23, 2026. Every number below comes from that page unless I mark it as my own math, and I explain what each one means for your rides.
Should you buy one?
On paper, the Ranger S 2.0 is a budget folding fat tire step-through. For $999 (as of Oct 23, 2026) Heybike lists a 750W motor, a 692 Wh battery, hydraulic brakes, front suspension and 20 x 4 in tires. The trade-offs on paper: Heybike’s page doesn’t list weight, payload, sensor type, gearing or fork travel, so I can’t compare those.

What the specs mean on the road
750W, 1400W peak, 80 Nm. Strong numbers for $999, enough for hills and fat tires.
48V 14.4Ah, 692 Wh, up to 55 miles. Heybike says range depends on rider weight, terrain, speed, weather and assist. Fat tires use more energy.
20 x 4 in tires and front suspension. Fat tires add cushion and grip on sand or gravel; small wheels keep the fold compact.
Hydraulic brakes. Strong, consistent stops with less hand force.
IPX4. Splash resistance. Avoid heavy rain and puddles.
How it compares to bikes I’ve reviewed
- Aventon Sinch: a folding fat tire bike I tested that fit in my Model 3 trunk.
- Kingbull Literider: a folding step-through I tested with 4 in fat tires and hydraulic brakes.
Who it’s for
