I haven’t ridden the Jasion EB5 Roamer ST. This profile is built from Jasion’s official product page, checked on Oct 23, 2026. Every number below comes from that page unless I mark it as my own math, and I explain what each one means for your rides.
Should you buy one?
On paper, the EB5 Roamer ST is a low-cost step-through, and the parts show it. For $699 (as of Oct 23, 2026) Jasion lists a 1200W motor, a 48V 11Ah battery (about 528 Wh), 80mm front suspension, a Shimano 7-speed and turn signals. The trade-offs on paper: mechanical disc brakes, a cadence sensor, 60 Nm, and a weight of 65 lb.

What the specs mean on the road
1200W, 60 Nm. Jasion doesn’t say whether 1200W is rated or peak. The 60 Nm torque figure is modest.
48V 11Ah, about 528 Wh, up to 62 miles. A modest battery. Treat 62 miles as a best case; expect much less with throttle use.
Mechanical disc brakes. Cable brakes need more hand force and more adjustment than hydraulics.
Cadence sensor and thumb throttle. Simple on/off assist.
26 x 1.95 in tires. Jasion calls them fat tires, but 1.95 in is a standard width.
65 lb. Heavy for a bike with this battery size.
How it compares to bikes I’ve reviewed
- Velotric T1 ST: a 36 lb step-through I tested.
- Aventon Pace 500.3: a step-through commuter I tested with a 614 Wh battery at 54 lb.
Who it’s for
- Tight budgets
- Riders who want a step-through with turn signals
Who should look elsewhere
- Hilly areas where hydraulic brakes matter
- Riders who want long range
Price
